Pumpkin Compost
Great Pumpkin Compost is back from November 1st - 10th!
It’s that time of year again, the annual Great Pumpkin Compost Collection! Instead of sending pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns to the landfill, you can reduce your waste by composting them. There will be pumpkin collection bins located at:
- County Fair Plaza on Dawson Road
- Westfort Playfield off Neebing Avenue
- Intercity Shopping Centre Overflow Parking lot (887 Fort William Rd - beside The Whole Nine Yards)
Drop off your used pumpkins at one of these locations from November 1st-10th! Just remember, pumpkins only! Please remove all non-compostable items like candles, metal/plastic decorations, or painted items.
